Privacy Policy

What FitLink reads, keeps, and leaves in your hands.

Last updated October 6, 2026

Your data

  • We process account details, profile and social activity, plans, preferences, habits, and progress needed to run FitLink.
  • Focus sessions stay on your device. Only daily completion counts and deduplication fingerprints sync so progress stays consistent across sessions.

Health & AI

  • Apple Health is optional and cloud health sync is off by default. Metrics sync only after you enable it; original records stay in Apple Health.
  • Plan requests send the prompt and relevant profile, plan, or health context needed to our AI provider. Do not enter information you do not want processed for planning.
  • Friend chat messages are stored encrypted. If a Gold member explicitly enables chat memory, selected text they wrote is decrypted on their device and sent to FitLink and its AI provider to extract preferences for plans. The saved preferences can be reviewed or deleted in Memories settings.

Social map

  • When you enable map sharing, your exact location, update time, heading, and speed may be stored.
  • Only mutual friends can receive your live map position. You can pause all sharing or exclude and re-enable individual friends from their profiles.
  • Turning sharing off or using Ghost Mode removes your current server snapshot; stale snapshots are also cleaned up.

How it is used

  • To run your account, personalize your plan, show progress, provide support, and protect the service.
  • We use Clerk for authentication, Convex for cloud data, OpenRouter and selected model providers for AI, RevenueCat for subscription status, and Google for rewarded ads when used.
  • We do not sell personal or health data. Rewarded-ad providers may process device and ad-event data under their own policies and your consent choices.

Your control

  • Change Health permissions in iPhone Settings, disable cloud health sync, edit your profile, control map recipients, or request account deletion in the app.
  • Turn off chat memory processing in Memories settings to stop new scans. Turning it off does not erase preferences already saved; you can delete them individually or clear them all there.
  • Account deletion removes your active FitLink data through a resumable process. Limited security, billing, or legal records may be retained when required.
  • Contact founder@edgetr.tech for access, correction, deletion, or privacy questions.
